    TO: All CU-Boulder Students

FROM: Julie Wong, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

    SENDER: Julie Wong

    DATE: September 16, 2008

    SUBJECT: West Virginia Game

The Colorado Buffs will be taking on the West Virginia Mountaineers
this Thursday, Sept. 18 at Folsom Stadium. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
Please be safe and act responsibly as this football game will be
    televised nationally on ESPN!

    1) Have Fun
Buff games are a great opportunity to support your team, show your
Buff pride and have fun! Be sure to show those national viewers what it means to be a Buff.

    2) Be Responsible
Know that CU Police and security will have a robust presence in and
around the stadium to ensure public safety. The Student Conduct Code
applies at all CU sporting events, so always be aware of your actions.
Keep in mind that no matter where you are or what you're doing, you're
    always a Buff.

    3) Be Safe
Safety will always be the number one concern, so do your part and be
accountable for yourself. Please stay safe for the whole experience--
before, during and after the game. If you wear black to the game,
remember it will be harder for drivers to see you once it's dark.
Also, game officials recommend entering the stadium well before
    kickoff to improve crowd flow.

    4) Be Respectful
Passion for our university is expected when it comes to large sporting
events. Support the team and compete with class. Although this is a
college football game, just note that this is a nationally televised
game, there are families with kids children attending and we want
future Buffs to see what being a Buff is all about.

    5) Be Informed
Parking will be difficult all day Thursday on campus, so if you can,
plan to walk, ride your bike or take the bus to campus and to the game.

Remember, the best chance of you getting viewed on national television
is to Compete like a Buffalo. So show up early to support our team. GO
    BUFFS!
