SUBJECT: Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in STEM Education
Chancellor Phil DiStefano invites applications for the Chancellor's Awards
for Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
These fellowships were established in 2009 to support faculty and graduate
student engagement in innovative research on student learning and
implementation of research-based STEM education programs and initiatives.
$10,000 faculty awards and half-time (25%) graduate research fellowships of up
to one academic year are available. Applicants may propose support for STEM
education projects in the early stages, for the coordination of existing
projects, or to seed efforts that can continue beyond the funding period.
Applications should be submitted electronically to iSTEM@colorado.edu by
Friday, July 1, 2011.
