         Being Fully Present with Students

What does it mean to be fully engaged with students in the classroom space?
How do we establish strong relationships and a binding social contract? How
do we calibrate this presence in the range from small seminars and large
lecture halls? What sense do students make of assignments? How do we "not"
compete with the Internet in the classroom/how can we capitalize upon
    students' multiple reference/communication worlds?

Presented by Professor Stan Deetz, Communications and Professor Diane
    Sieber, Engineering-Herbst/Humanities

Ths symposium takes place on Tuesday Sept 25, 3:30-5:00, in Henderson
    Museum, Dinosaur Hall.

    Reception to Follow.
