CORRECTION: Required Training for non-payroll Student Employees
The previous E-Memo sent two weeks ago giving dates for student training on UCB
policies on Discrimination and Harassment omitted dates that should have been
included. Those previous dates continue to be appropriate for students who are
paid through university payroll. My apologies for the omission.
By campus policy, all students who work with other students in any evaluative
or supervisory capacity, to include graders, tutors, lab assistants, etc. must
attend a workshop focused on UCB policies on Discrimination and Harassment at
least once every three years, even if they are not on the university payroll.
We ask that faculty supervisors be sure that all their student employees attend
the training workshop.
