SUBJECT: LEAP Introductory Leadership Workshop-May
The LEAP program is pleased to announce the next Introductory Leadership
Workshop will be held May 16-18, 2007. The workshop will run from
approximately 9-4, Wednesday through Friday and will be held in Benson Earth
Sciences. Applicants are required to be present for all three days in order to
participate.
The Introductory Leadership Workshop is designed for junior faculty.
The workshop will offer presentations on time management, difficult
conversations, collaborative leadership, and understanding the tenure
process. These workshops are small and designed to provide you with an
opportunity to meet and get to know other junior faculty across the campus.
A stipend is paid to successful applicants. The deadline for decisions
is May 2, and the number of participants is limited. We will accept
participants on a first come, first served basis. Please consider joining
us.
