             students about this!

    Dear Faculty Members,

CU-Boulder Career Services would like to enlist your support in encouraging
students to let us know about internships and career positions they have been
offered (even if they declined the offer).

We provide two easy avenues for them to indicate their offers. They can fill
out a quick survey on our website at
http://careerservices.colorado.edu/public.cs?csForm3 , or if they have
registered for Career Services Online (CSO), our online system, information can
be quickly entered in the "Placement" section.

Any placement information obtained is considered confidential, and their name
is never made public. Career Services uses this information to help us direct
other students to employers who are actively recruiting CU-Boulder students,
and the data becomes part of our report to the National Association of Colleges
and Employers (NACE), which publishes a national salary survey. Students
involved in salary negotiations find the information helpful, too, as they
finalize their job search. Also, it exposes gaps in job opportunities for
certain majors and helps us to target our employer outreach activities.

Please remind your students of the resources available to them through our
    department.
Check out our website, http://careerservices.colorado.edu , for more
information. We also serve as a resource for you! Take a look at
http://careerservices.colorado.edu/facstaff.cs to see what we offer!

    Thanks for your assistance!
