    FUN RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR KIDS!

    The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and
    Neuroscience has on-going projects on memory and language development! We
    welcome all children from birth to age 10. A visit, scheduled at your
    convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Parking is free and babysitting is
    available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids
    receive a
    fun prize and a certificate!

    RENNIE HARRIS' "HEAVEN"

    Members of Rennie Harris Puremovement - the first and longest running hip-hop
    dance touring company - will premiere Harris' groundbreaking work,
    "Heaven," with dance students from the University of Colorado Boulder.

    "Heaven," set to Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring," tells the story of an
    old man enraptured by the idea of a beautiful afterlife and his wife, who loves
    him so intensely that she is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

    On Tuesday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. in Macky Auditorium, the CU-Boulder Wind
    Symphony and Symphonic Band present a concert featuring the world premiere of
    Carter Pann's "Symphony for Winds - 'My Brother's Brain.'" Conducted by Matthew
    Roeder, the Symphonic Band will be joined by CU-Boulder Professor of Clarinet
    Daniel Silver. Allan McMurray will conduct the world premiere of Pann's
    "Symphony" with the composer at the piano.
