    MONITOR SWAP: CRT FOR LCD

    Facilities Management IT has nine 19 inch LCD flat screen monitors available to
    campus computer users free of charge. Swap out your old, bulky, energy
    hogging CRT (cathode ray tube) monitor for a sleek, energy efficient, higher
    quality LCD monitor. Send an e-mail with your name, department, phone
    number and requested number of monitors. Become the proud, new owner of a
    gently used, flat screen monitor or monitors.

    SPRING COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY TO BE BROADCAST LIVE

    The 2011 Spring Commencement Ceremony of the University of Colorado
    Boulder will be broadcast live on Campus Cable channel 3, as well as on the

    VOLUNTEER FOR RTD'S SMART CARD PILOT PROGRAM AND BE ENTERED TO WIN
    AN IPAD 2

    RTD is looking for volunteers to test a pilot program of their new Smart Card
    system. CU students and employees with a student bus pass or Eco Pass who
    ride the BOLT, 209, B, BX, SKIP, DASH or AB are eligible to participate. The test
    will run during May and participants will receive a Starbuck's gift card for their
    participation. Participants will also be entered to win an iPad 2! Email

    RETIREMENT PARTY FOR DALE MOOD ON MAY 3

    Please join us to help Dale Mood celebrate his upcoming retirement. We will be
    gathering in the Koenig Alumni Center from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, May 3. Dale
    currently is a professor in the Department of Integrative Physiology and has
    worked for the University of Colorado for over 41 years.

    HOW DO WE KNOW TEACHING WITH TECHNOLOGY WORKS?

    Please join Academic Technology staff for an EDUCAUSE ELI webinar
    Wednesday, May 4, from 11 am-2 pm. in Folsom Stadium 367 titled, "How
    Do We Know It Works? Evaluating Learning Technology Projects," by Clare van
    den Blink of Cornell University. This seminar will guide participants through a
    process for evaluating instructional technology projects. Participants are invited
    to bring examples of projects and goals for instructional technology projects
    they may have.

    BURSAR'S OFFICE OPENS AT 9:15 AM ON MAY 6, 2011

    The Bursar's Office will open at 9:15 am on Friday, May 6, 2011 so the staff
    can attend a special training. Payroll checks will not be available until after

    Dining at C4C this Summer:
    C4C Dining Center closed Friday, May 6 - Sunday, May 29.
    Reopens on Monday, May 30 to new summer hours:
    Monday-Friday: 6:45 am-2 pm; 5-7 pm
    Saturday/Sunday: 10 am-2 pm; 5-7 pm
    There will be no increase in campus cash meal prices for the upcoming
    academic year.
    Note: Effective May 29, credit/debit card purchases for meals will increase
    to $12 plus tax.
