VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR VOICE AND SPEECH RESEARCH STUDY
The National Center for Voice and Speech - Denver is looking for individuals
with Parkinson's disease (PD) and healthy aging adults (age 45- 85), to be
in a research study to determine the effects of speech treatment for
individuals with PD. Participation is voluntary, compensation will be
provided, and assessments and/or treatment provided free of charge. The

FUN RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR KIDS!
The Cognitive Development Center in the Department of Psychology and
Neuroscience has on-going projects on memory and language development! We
welcome all children from birth to age 10. A visit, scheduled at your
convenience, lasts about 30 minutes. Parking is free and babysitting is
available for siblings. Parents are compensated for travel and kids receive
a fun prize and a certificate!

GENERATIONS IN THE WORKPLACE

NEW IRB SUBMISSION PROCESS
The Institutional Review Board has implemented a new system for submitting
and tracking human research protocols, called eRA. Currently approved
protocols have been transferred to the new system, but procedures for new
submissions have changed. Please note that student researchers not employed
by the University must create an eRA account, which takes 1-2 days. For more
