    Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010. British & Irish Studies, 5th floor, Norlin
    Library. An opportunity to view selected books and documents from CU
    Libraries' Special Collections, see an interesting presentation on the
    University's digital archive collection, and tour the newly renovated
    reference floor and high-tech Information Commons. After a catered light
    lunch, enjoy "American Gems of the AMRC: American History through the Lens
    of Music," a presentation by Eric Harbeson, archivist for the American Music
    Research Center at CU.

    ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AWARDS -- CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

    Submit your nominations to honor Boulder faculty, staff and alumni at the
    80th Annual CU Alumni Association Awards program. Nominations are due by 5
    p.m. Jan. 22. These are some of the university's most prestigious awards and
    include the Robert L. Stearns Award, George Norlin Award, Alumni Recognition
    Award and Kalpana Chawla Outstanding Recent Graduate Award. See website for
