The last faculty-staff Buff Bulletin (BB) before the Christmas holiday will
be published Wednesday, Dec. 23. BB will not publish on Monday, Dec. 28.
Regular BB service will resume with the Wednesday, Dec. 30 edition.
The last Student Buff Bulletin (SBB) during this break will be published
Tuesday, Dec. 22. There will be no editions on Thursday, Dec. 24, Tuesday,
Dec. 29, or Thursday, Dec. 31. The SBB returns to regular service with the
Tuesday, Jan. 5 edition.

AEROBICALLY ACTIVE FEMALES (55+ YRS) NEEDED FOR CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH STUDY
The Integrative Physiology of Aging Lab is seeking volunteers to study the
effects of exercise training on cardiovascular health in females aged 55 and

-Aged 55-75 years
-Not taking prescription medications
-Aerobically active 3+ days/week
-Exercise stress test
-Detailed blood panel (including: cholesterol and glucose)
-Body composition analysis, including osteoporosis risk
-Monetary compensation for time

faculty, staff, departments, or units are currently being accepted for the

DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR 2010 VISUAL ART/VISUAL SCIENCE SEMINAR
The application deadline for the Fall 2010 Visual Art/Visual Science seminar
has been extended to Jan. 15, 2010. The formal topic is Visualizing
Disasters, but we will not eliminate strong applicants with interest in
visual art/visual science who wish to inform themselves about the topic
while sharing their own approaches to such visualization with other
