Sustainable Community Development Short Course
This five-day short course will provide participants with skills and knowledge
from multiple disciplines for assessing community needs and developing
sustainable interventions. Discounts are available for CU faculty, staff, and
students. Brought to you by the Center for Global Health, ATLAS, and the
Mortenson Center in Engineering for Developing Communities. Register now -
space is still available! Register through the Center for Advanced Engineering
and Technology Education. Registration deadline is July 1.

Helping Children Heal From Stress
Tuesday, June 30th 9-11 am at the College Inn Colorado Room. Provided by CU
Children's Center /Family Housing.
The major sources of stress during infancy will be identified/ review of the
conditions required for children to restore emotional health will be discussed.
The focus will be on reducing stress, creating emotional safety and
facilitating children's spontaneous stress-release mechanisms. Facilitated by
Nilufer Devecigil, Play Therapist/Family Counselor, MA, Transpersonal

2009-2010 WORK-STUDY RECRUITING OPPORTUNITY
Each year, the Student Employment Office prepares a mailing to approximately
1100 freshmen and transfer students who have been awarded work-study for the
upcoming academic year. The purpose of the mailing is to assist students in

Safe Zone: LGBTQ Ally Development Training
This interactive training works to help participants develop a deeper awareness
of personal ideas, stereotypes, and assumptions related to the lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) community and help increase participant's
comfort level supporting LGBTQ individuals within the university community.
