APOCALYPSE AND TRANSFORMATION COLLOQUIUM
The Center for Humanities and the Arts invites you to join us for a free

EVENING ESL CLASSES AT INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH CENTER
The Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies' International
English Center is offering multi-skill evening classes in English as a
second language (ESL) to Boulder residents and visitors. Classes meet for
six weeks at beginning, intermediate, or advanced levels on Mondays and
Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for $355, text included. CU faculty/staff
non-credit discount applies. Improve your reading, writing, listening and
speaking skills. Registration and Placement is Monday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m.

FIRST PERSON CINEMA PRESENTS THE BLACK MARIA FILM FESTIVAL
The annual Black Maria Film and Video Festival has been advocating,
exhibiting and rewarding cutting edge works from independent film and video
makers. Now in its 27th year, the Black Maria Festival is distinguishing
itself as a cornerstone for artists to express the inventive, insightful,
and uncommon spirit. The evening begins at 7 p.m., Monday, March 9 at the

RECEIVE $10 FOR PARTICIPATING IN AN ONLINE STUDY ON HOW PEOPLE FORM
POLITICAL OPINIONS
We are seeking individuals 18 years or older to participate in a research
study of how people form opinions about current events. Participation
involves reviewing newspaper articles online and completing a set of
questionnaires. The study will take 30-60 minutes. Participants will receive

NEW ADDRESS STANDARDS FOR NON-PROFIT FLAT-SIZE MAIL
The United States Post Office is implementing new address standards for
non-profit flat-size mail which will be effective on March 29, 2009. These
standards will change the mailing panel of the piece and will affect the
design and layout of the piece. Please call Imaging Services for
consultation to learn what these new standards mean for you and your

BURSAR'S OFFICE WILL OPEN AT 9:15 A.M. ON 3/6/09
The Bursar's Office will open at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, March 6 so that the

TEXTBOOK OVERSTOCK READY TO BE RETURNED TO THE PUBLISHERS
To help us prepare for the summer and fall semesters, the CU Book Store is
starting to return spring overstock to the publishers. If you are planning
to use the same textbook next semester, please send a book adoption to the
textbook office ASAP. In addition, if you think your students may be waiting
to make textbook purchases, please advise them to do so as soon as possible.
