    LAST CHANCE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE FOR SERVING COMMUNITIES AWARD

    IECE is accepting nominations for the Serving Communities Award to
    recognize the importance of civilly engaged citizens. The award will
    honor one faculty member, one staff member and one student who embody
    the values/actions of an engaged citizen, whose work contributes to the
    vitality of our communities and contributes to CU-Boulder~Rs civic
    mission. Each recipient receives a $500 award and plaque. Applications
    due 5 pm, Feb. 13.

    2009 CHANCELLOR'S EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR AWARD

    STUDIO ARTS IN MEXICO THIS SUMMER! INTEREST MEETING: 2/5

    Students can earn Studio Arts credits in a beautiful colonial Mexican
    silver town nestled in the mountains of Guerrero this summer. Studio
    Arts and the Mexican Aesthetic a 3-week, 3-credit course led by Dr.
    George Rivera - explores how art is woven into the fabric of Mexican
    culture via an interdisciplinary approach that includes on-site visits
    to archaeological sites, cathedrals, museums, and galleries.

    STUDY DENMARK FOR A SEMESTER OR SUMMER (IN ENGLISH)!

    FILM AND ART IN ROME NEXT SUMMER! INTEREST MEETING: 2/4

    Students can spend three weeks in May & June studying film, art, and
    culture in Rome. All majors can apply and receive 3 UD credits.
    Course taught in English. Fulfills UD Lit. & Arts core. Program led by
    Film Studies professor, Suranjan Ganguly. Film screenings and lectures
    are combined with excursions in & around Rome. Learn more at an
