and Norlin Library. Mon-Thurs 10am.-3:30pm. Friday hours for Norlin bus
10-11:40am and 1-3:30pm. Bonfils needs 4,000+ donors each week for

FOSSIL FAMILY DAY AT THE CU MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
Saturday, Feb 7; 1-4pm. Colorado is one of the most fossil-rich areas on
Earth - Come to the CU Museum of Natural History and explore the many
types of ancient life that lived here before us. Hands-on activities,
crafts, paleontology experts and food. Free for all ages!

ECOSTAR CHALLENGE KICKS OFF THIS WEEK!
This week Housing and Dining is kicking off the Spring ~R09 semester of
the EcoStar Challenge, a competition between residence halls to reduce
the usage of water, steam and electricity and increase the amount of
recycling from last year~Rs spring semester. The slogan is zero waste
and students in the residence halls are encouraged to conserve and help
their hall win $1000 per utility category.

FIRST PERSON CINEMA PRESENTS THE STUDENT ACADEMY AWARDS SHOW
Coming up on Monday, Feb 9, First Person Cinema presents the Student
Academy Awards Show with five Gold Medal Award-winning entries, and the
Honorary Foreign Film Award winner from the 35th Annual Student Academy
Awards competition will be shown this one night only. Come see some
outstanding student films in animation, documentary, narrative, and much
more. The evening begins at 7 pm, in Atlas 100, on Feb 9, and is totally
free so don't miss out!

FISKE PLANETARIUM NEWS!

CHANCELLOR'S COMMITTEE ON WOMEN ANNUAL AWARDS

currently being accepted for the annual CCW awards. Recipients will be

CALLING ALL SLAM POETS! SIGN UP DEADLINE FEB 25
Participate in CU~Rs 6th Annual Poetry Slam on Friday, Mar 13 at 8pm in
the UMC Ballroom. You can sign up now at http://www.cupoetryslam.org the
deadline is February 25. Student ID required. The first 15 poets will be
accepted, so don~Rt miss your chance to register. The Slam will feature
Emcees from the Denver Slam Team and chances to win prizes.
