Study Nordic Culture in ICELAND this summer! Interest Meeting: TUESDAY, 10/14
Students can spend this summer studying Nordic Culture in Iceland! This
3-credit upper-division course is led by CU Instructor Helga Luthers, a native
of Iceland, and is approved to fulfill the A&S Core "Contemporary Societies"!
Lectures will be complimented by excursions in Reykjavik and surrounding areas,
including a field trip to a glacier, geothermal power plant, museums and many

Return of the Corn Mothers Exhibit Opens
Second Floor Gallery
Opens Monday, October 13th
This traveling exhibit is a photo-documentary of non-traditional women from New
Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and Arizona. The exhibit is a unique visual anthology
of women who have pursued livelihoods in the healing and fine arts. These
artists, dancers, musicians, and herbalist healers use their talents to inspire
others to create and prosper.

Study Finance in London in Summer '09! Interest meeting 10/15
Students have the chance to study international finance in London this summer
with CU Business Professor Michael Palmer. This program includes lectures from
prominent financial professionals and field trips to sites such as the Bank of
England, Houses of Parliament, and the London Stock Exchange. Eligibility
requirements include a minimum 2.75 GPA and coursework in Business or

FUN RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR KIDS!
The Cognitive Development Center in the Psychology Department is conducting
projects on memory and language development! We welcome all children from birth
to age 10. A visit, scheduled at your convenience, lasts about 30 minutes.
Parking is free and babysitting is available for siblings. Parents are
compensated for travel and kids receive a fun prize and a certificate!
