    AMRC LECTURE SERIES

    The American Music Research Center invites you to the Second Annual
    Robert and Ruth Fink Lecture, "Mr. Gershwin Meets the Blues: A Tale of
    the Jazz Age," by Richard A. Crawford, Professor Emeritus, University of
    Michigan. This event, presented by the AMRC with funding from Robert and
    Ruth Fink, will be held on Monday, Oct 6, at 7:30pm in Chamber Hall
    (C199), College of Music.

    ANNUAL STAFF APPREICATION BREAKFAST & NON-PARISHABLE FOOD DRIVE

    Boulder Campus Staff Council invites all classified and professional
    exempt employees to this year's complimentary Fall Staff Appreciation
    Breakfast on Wednesday, Oct 8. The breakfast will be held in the UMC
    Glenn Miller Ballroom from 7-8:30am. Bring your coworkers and your staff
    ID. Non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to the local

    "EVOLUTION: HERE AND NOW" OPENING RECEPTION AND SCIENTISTS ROUNDTABLE

    JOIN THE GREEN STAMPEDE!

    CU is striving for six zero-waste home football games this season, a
    historic first for a large U.S. sports stadium! We are seeking 60+
    volunteers for this weekend's game to defend zero-waste stations and
    educate fans about the new process. Volunteers will receive a Green
    Stampede shirt, hat, free stadium admission, and a free meal voucher.
