Sign up for CU-Boulder's wireless text messaging service that enables

NEWS FROM THE LIBRARIES: SCIENCE REFERENCE HAS MOVED!
The Science Library reference service within Norlin will relocate to
the Reference Desk on the first floor beginning August 27. Reference
services are available during regular reference desk hours 9 am-8 pm,
Monday-Thursday, 9 am-5 pm, Fridays and 1 pm-5 pm weekends. You can
also get reference assistance by phone at 303-492-7521, by email at

The Graduate Committee on the Arts and Humanities (GCAH) has undergone
a review of its policies and procedures for 2007-2008. Please use the

SUBJECTS NEEDED FOR EXERCISE METABOLISM RESEARCH STUDY
Are you at risk of developing diabetes because of having a family
history, having diabetes during pregnancy, a high blood pressure or
being overweight? Are you aged 45-70 and interested in being involved
in a research project? We are looking for volunteers to participate in
a metabolism study investigating how fat stored in your muscle affects

The CU Boulder Graduate School Research Symposium will be held August
30 at 6 pm in the UMC 235. Panelist include Susan Solomon, senior
scientist, Earth System Research Laboratory, NOAA, Doug Arent,
director, Strategic Energy Analysis Center, NREL, Patricia Limerick,
director, Center of the American West, Heidi VanGenderen, senior
advisor on Climate Change and Energy, Colorado Governors Office, Susan
Avery, professor of electrical and computer engineering. The symposium
will conclude with a question and answer discussion.
