SUBJECT: Important Reminder about Student Tickets for President Obama event
Student tickets for President Obama's speech will be distributed on Sunday,
April 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University Memorial Center (UMC) in the
Glenn Miller Ballroom. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served
basis. Students will need to bring their valid CU student ID (Buff OneCard) as
proof of current CU-Boulder registration and will also be asked to sign for
their ticket. The tickets are non-transferable.
Entry to the event on Tuesday will take place between 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. To enter
the event on Tuesday, students will need to present their signed ticket and
valid Buff OneCard. No backpacks will be allowed in the venue (small bags no
greater than 12" x 12" will be permitted but subject to search). Containers of
any kind, bottles, cans, guns, knives, pocket-knives, multi-tools, mace, pepper
spray, or sharp objects of any kind, other weapons or other hazardous items are
prohibited. No overnight camping will be allowed on campus at anytime leading
up to this event.
