SUBJECT: Outreach Proposal Deadline Extended to April 30

Dear Faculty Colleagues, Directors, and Staff:

Due to a programming glitch with the online proposal submission form, the
deadline for the 2012-2013 outreach proposals has been extended to Monday,
    April 30.

The online submission form and the 2012-2013 proposal guidelines can be found
at http://outreachawards.colorado.edu. Please review the guidelines in advance
of your submission and send any questions via email to outreach@colorado.edu.

Faculty applicants may request up to $8,000 and faculty groups may request up
to $24,000 for each proposal. Outreach funds will be awarded by the CU-Boulder
    Outreach Committee in June 2012.

Proposed outreach projects should extend faculty members' research, teaching
and creative work. Outreach and engagement is defined as the ways faculty,
staff, and students collaborate with external groups in mutually beneficial
partnerships that are grounded in scholarship and consistent with our role and
mission as a comprehensive, public research university. We encourage all
applicants to review the campus definition of outreach at
    http://outreach.colorado.edu/about/outreach-definition.
