    SUBJECT: Please register for Property Disposal Training - Module 2 of ABS Departmental Property Managers Certificate Training

    In Module 2 of the Departmental Property Managers Certificate Training, learn
    how to properly dispose of your department's surplus property. Discover your
    options: trade-ins, donations, transfers, etc. Learn how to create disposal
    requests. Find out what happens to UCB surplus property once we pick it up from
    your department.

    This class will be held April 25, 1:30-4:00, MSSC Training Room W179.

    Property Management-Classroom Training

    Hands-on, interactive training for new or experienced employees covers all
    phases of departmental property management. Completion of all three sessions
    will lead to a Departmental Property Manager certification if completed within
    two years. Training and certification is sponsored by ABS, OCG, and Property

    Focus is on equipment equipment disposal, transfer to another campus, donation
    to a non-profit etc.

    Session 3:
    Focus is on equipment purchased with sponsored/Fed money and the additional
    tracking requirements.
