SUBJECT: Dedication and Tours of New JILA X-wing on April 13
JILA is pleased to announce the dedication of the new six-story, $32.7 million
addition to JILA, a joint institute of the University of Colorado Boulder and
the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to be held on the
CU-Boulder campus at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 13.
NIST Director Patrick Gallagher will join CU-Boulder Chancellor Philip
DiStefano, Boulder Mayor Matt Appelbaum and Precision Photonics Corp. CEO Chris
Myatt in speaking at the southwest entrance to the new JILA X-wing, located
just north of the Imig Music Building and east of the Environmental Design
Building. JILA Chair Eric Cornell will serve as master of ceremonies.
The event is free and open to the public, and sign language interpretation will
be available. Starting at about 3 p.m., the new wing will open for self-guided
tours.
