SUBJECT: New BuffOne Card Building Access
As you may be aware the Buff OneCard office is in the process of re-carding all
faculty and staff. All full time faculty and staff have either already received
or soon will receive new cards with new card numbers. This has caused some
concern with some people around campus regarding how this will affect building
access using the old and new cards. This e-mail is intended to explain what
will actually take place and when.
1) Your old card will continue to work as normal until the new card goes live
on Jan. 3 2012
2) All of your current clearances will automatically transfer to your new card
on Jan. 3 2012
3) Continue using your old card until Jan. 3
4) On or after Jan. 3 please test your new card to make sure that it is working
properly, ONLY THEN should you destroy your old card.
