SUBJECT: PAC-12 Fitness Challenge
Dear CU Community,
One of the amazing things about CU and Boulder is the healthy lifestyle so many
of us follow. Our entrance into the Pac-12 ushers in a new and exciting era for
our community. As part of that new era, we are taking part in the Pac-12
Fitness Challenge. This week-long competition (October 24th-30th) is an
opportunity for the CU community to show our Pac-12 rivals how active and
engaged we are as a university. Students, faculty, staff and alumni can help CU
toward our goal of winning the Challenge simply by being physically active.
Check out the Pac-12 Facebook page for details on registration and how to log
your minutes: http://www.Facebook.com/Pac12BestoftheWestFitnessChallenge.
As part of the Challenge, the Rec Center is sponsoring a series of events
throughout the week. Things kick-off on Monday, October 24th with FIT FEST at
Farrand Field from 11:30-1:00. Then get ready to move, during the Learn to
Dance to Thriller event in Carlson Gym from 5:00-6:30. There will be prize
giveaways every day and a variety of free fitness classes. Take this
opportunity to show your BUFF pride and let's LEAD THE PAC during the Pac-12
Fitness Challenge.
Again, go to http://www.Facebook.com/Pac12BestoftheWestFitnessChallenge to
register.
GO BUFFS!
