SUBJECT: Classified Staff Performance Evaluations & Plans

The 2010-2011 performance management cycle for classified staff ended on March
31, 2011. All completed evaluations must be received by the Office of Labor
Relations (OLR) by May 2, 2100 (no exceptions). Some departments have earlier
deadlines, so please adhere to any earlier deadlines set by your department.

The 2011-2012 performance management cycle begins today, April 1, 2011.
Performance Plans for the 2011-2012 cycle are due on June 1, 2011. A copy of
the front page of the planning and evaluation form, with section 1 and 2
correctly filled out, must be turned into the Office of Labor Relations by that
date.

Each employee in a regular non-temporary position including retirees and 1%
on-call employees must receive a new plan at the beginning of each evaluation
cycle so that s/he can be fairly evaluated at the end of the performance
management cycle. New plans must also be put into place within 30 days of an
employee's hire, promotion, demotion, transfer or change in supervisor.
