SUBJECT: GLBTQ conferences at CU-Boulder
CU-Boulder is hosting two educational gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender,
and queer (GLBTQ) conferences this semester. Both conferences are free
and open to the public.
1) Reaching Out: GLBTQ Career Conference
Thursday, March 10, 2-8 pm
This conference will feature educational sessions on career topics related
to being GLBTQ, a networking event, and a keynote talk by Kirk Snyder,
author of The G Quotient: Why Gay Executives are Excelling as Leaders . .
and What Every Manager Needs to Know as well as The Lavender Road to
Success: The Career Guide for the Gay Community.

2) 5th Annual TRANSforming Gender Symposium April 1-2
This symposium will offer an array of talks, trainings, and film
screenings to increase visibility and education about transgender
identities and experiences, and to bring together the local transgender
and ally communities. Speakers this year include Dean Spade, Dr. Marci
Bowers, Rabbi Reuben Zellman, and Ignacio Rivera.
