SUBJECT: Women's Mental Health and Wellness Clinic at CU

We are excited to introduce the Women's Mental Health and Wellness Clinic
at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Under the direction of Dr. Sona
Dimidjian and Dr. Tina Pittman Wagers, the Women's Clinic provides
compassionate, evidence based treatment to promote women's mental health
and wellness throughout the life cycle.

Our clinic offers a variety of services including individual, couple and
family therapy, skill-building groups, and community education. Our
interventions are based on cognitive and behavioral therapies and the
clinical application of mindfulness meditation. Staff therapists
supervised by licensed clinical psychologists provide clinical services on
    a sliding fee scale.

In addition to our clinical services, Dr. Dimidjian also directs a strong
program of clinical research investigating the treatment and prevention of
depression during pregnancy and postpartum. The Women's Clinic is an
integral part of the Clinical Research, Education, Services and Treatment
(CREST) Program for Women's Mental Health. The mission of the CREST
program is to be a local and international leader in clinical research,
education, and treatment, with an emphasis on the mental health needs of
    women throughout the life span.

We will be offering a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy group for the
prevention of depression for adult women and a Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy group for adolescent girls with depression. Both of these groups
will be starting in January 2011. Please contact us at 303-492-7378
    (303-49-CREST) for more information.

We also invite you to look at our website
(http://psych.colorado.edu/crest) to learn more about the range of
services that we provide. Please contact us at 303-492-7378
(303-49-CREST) to discuss our program, seek services, or make a referral.

We look forward to speaking with you about how our services may be helpful.

    Sincerely,

    Sona Dimidjian, Ph.D.
