SUBJECT: Engineering Review Forum, September 17

    Dear Colleagues:

This year the role of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at
CU-Boulder will be a special focus of program review. Departments under
    review include:

    Aerospace Engineering Sciences
    Chemical and Biological Engineering
    Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering
    Computer Science
    Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering
    Mechanical Engineering

The extraordinary contributions of scholars in these fields to the core
mission of the university is a long-standing source of pride for the campus.
Yet despite the national standing of these departments, many questions about
future needs and opportunities remain to be addressed.

We invite you to learn about the current and future work of these six units
at a community forum on Friday, September 17th from 3 - 4:30 p.m. in the
Discovery Learning Center (DLC) Collaboratory (1B70).

Faculty, staff, students and interested community members are welcome.

A wide-ranging discussion will follow presentations by the dean. Your
questions are encouraged; we look forward to an informative dialogue.

A detailed schedule may be found online:
    https://facultyaffairs.colorado.edu/events/fall-academic-forum

A reception will follow in the DLC Atrium at 4:30 p.m.
