SUBJECT: Recruiting Graduate Students This Summer
Dear Colleagues:
Congratulations on the end of another stellar school year and best wishes
for an enjoyable summer. For those of you who may be traveling this summer,
or even just corresponding with associates in other places, we have gathered
some publications and tips on doing a bit of recruiting along the way, for
we in the Graduate School know that your personal contact with potential
graduate students is the best recruitment tool around. See
http://www.colorado.edu/GraduateSchool/facstaff/index.html#recruiting .
Note: Please request any publications using our online order form at
http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB229WTUJ48GT . They are all free of
charge.
One final note, even if you're not traveling to all of your favorite
destinations, please give a thought to touching base with any good
prospective graduate students whom you know. All the recruiting statistics
in the world indicate that a personal touch is one of the best recruitment
tools.
Thanks again and have a great summer.
