All canned food and cash gifts will be donated to the Community Food Share
of Boulder County. Working through over 50 member agencies, CFS efficiently
delivered 6.6 million pounds of food in 2009 (that's 24% more than in 2008).
It is estimated that Boulder and Broomfield Counties have over 50,000
residents living in poverty and hunger is a real part of their lives, every
day....that's enough people to fill up Folsom Field!
So get your cans to the Buffalo Can Challenge, build team spirit while
building your sculpture, and help fight hunger. You CAN make a difference.
This event brought to you by the Volunteer Resource Center, the Institute
for Ethical and Civic Engagement, Community Food Share, Ball Corporation and
Safeway.
