    SUBJECT: Spring Deadline for Instructional VHS/DVD Requests

    It's time for academic departments to request instructional videos and DVDs
    needed for the Spring 2009 semester. The deadline to submit requests to
    Norlin Library is November 7. As in the past, departments are strongly
    encouraged to share in the purchase costs of desired titles.

    A description of the request process and the request form are available at
    http://ucblibraries.colorado.edu/accessservices/purchaserequest.htm .

    Many technology classrooms on campus are now equipped with DVD players and
    the Library encourages purchasing titles in DVD format rather than VHS when
    available. Please consider this option when submitting requests. Please note
    that the Library does not buy from marketplace sellers (used and new) who
    sell through Amazon.com and does not purchase from eBay.
