SUBJECT: Employee Partnership Ballots in the Mail and Correction to FAQs

Last week, I sent an ememo to the campus announcing that on May 21, 2008,
the American Arbitration Association mailed ballots to classified employees
in five occupational groups (Enforcement and Protective Services, Health
Care Services, Labor, Trades and Crafts, Administrative Support and Related,
    and Physical Sciences and Engineering).

If you are a member of one of these groups and have not been excluded from
participation in the election pursuant to the guidelines in the Governor's
Executive Order, you should receive a ballot at your home. If you are
eligible to receive a ballot and have not received it by May 28, 2008 please
call 800-529-5218. This is a toll-free number at the American Arbitration
Association established to assist eligible classified employees who have not
    received their ballots.

Additionally, an error was found in the CU Bulletin on Partnership
Agreements. The answer to the first question said that the University of
Colorado was not required to participate in horizontal agreements and it
should say vertical agreements. We have corrected the error and you can
download an updated version of the CU Bulletin on Partnership Agreements at
    http://tinyurl.com/546efc.

If you have questions regarding employee partnership agreements, the
elections, or the exclusions, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions
documents found at: http://www.colorado.edu/humres/support/ or contact the
Office of Labor Relations at 303-492-0956.
