The 2008 Democratic National Convention will take place in Denver August
25-28, 2008. University Communications is developing a web-based listing of
University (faculty, staff and student) events associated with the national
convention. We invite all campus organizations to participate in this
cataloging effort by submitting event listings to
    http://www.colorado.edu/events/dncc .

Examples of events to include are lectures and symposia, classroom field
assignments, tours, and receptions. This comprehensive listing of events is
intended as a resource for internal planning and internal/external
communication. Any events open to the public will receive an additional
listing on the official University of Colorado at Boulder Events Calendar
    http://www.colorado.edu/events .

When planning events associated with the 2008 Democratic National Convention
in Denver, please keep in mind that members of the University of Colorado
community must abide by certain restrictions and prohibitions established by
Colorado's Fair Campaign Practices Act (CRS 1-45-117). For more information
about this Act and its implications for event planning, please reference the
    Guidelines for Campaign Related Activity

versity-community statement on the University of Colorado System website.

University Communications appreciates the assistance of the University
community in this effort. For more information, contact University
    Communications at events@colorado.edu.
