    SUBJECT: Proposed Personal Leave Policy Update
     

    As many of you know, the Department of Personnel & Administration (DPA) is
    proposing a new Personal Leave policy that will combine an employee's annual
    and sick leave. The target effective date is July 1, 2008. The DPA has
    requested that we share their latest update about the proposed policy which can
    be found at http://www.colorado.gov/dpa/dhr/comp/docs/PLUpdate03.04.08.pdf.
    This update provides answers to recurring questions that have been raised by
    employees.
