Greetings Everyone!
Ever wondered why we have all of the SIS data and we can't easily get to it?
Ever contemplated why you have to go screen to screen to screen to put together
a good picture of your students academic progress? Don't have a professional
programmer in your department? Do you wish you just had a list of the students
that represent your specific student population? Do you wish you could just
easily get a list of all the students graduating in your majors? Do you wish
you had student email and addresses easily available for contact and mailings?
Well fear not, the RQS is designed for you!
By request and popular demand the Office of the Registrar will be holding a RQS
Registrar Query System and Self Service Student Data Reports Demonstration.
The Registrar Query System is a self service student data reporting system that
is designed for most departmental faculty/staff across the CU Boulder Campus to
have fast and easy access to student and data they need to quickly help their
job needs (other SIS data is available on a case by case basis). All general
report queries are FREE to the department, and custom report queries can also
be requested for a one time programming fee.
The RQS has over 100 student data reports actively being used across campus.
Reports are generated and sent right to your computer via the web in the form
of MS Excel spreadsheets. The Registrar Query System has added several new
data reports in the last year, and many of you may be very interested in seeing
how beneficial these reports can be for your departments. These reports will
be demonstrated. We are also planning on adding/demonstrating new general
report queries shortly before this meeting that could be very useful to your
department including a Grade Liaison Report of Completed Grades so the liaison
can tell who has submitted grades and what grades were submitted. We will also
try to update you on reporting issues with the SIS replacement project.
Thanks for your attendance and we look forward to seeing you soon!
