SUBJECT: Campus Closures and Emergency Leave Reporting
This information is being sent in response to many inquiries regarding the
recent campus closures and emergency leave reporting. The campus remained open
in order to allow students to complete their fall academic requirements;
however, CU-Boulder announced emergency closures as follows:
December 20, 2006 (Wed) Early closure at 12:30p.m. for non-essential
employees
December 21, 2006 (Thurs) Campus closed for non-essential employees
December 22, 2006 (Fri) Two-hour delayed opening
December 28, 2006 (Thurs) Early closure at 2:00p.m. for non-essential employees
December 29, 2006 (Fri) Campus closed for non-essential employees
CU-Boulder employees who were already on approved annual, sick, or other type
of leave when the closures occurred may substitute paid administrative leave
for the period of closure. Additional guidance regarding leave reporting will
be forthcoming. If you have additional questions, please contact the Human
