Curriculum
NEW FOR FALL 2013
The CU Executive MBA has a completely redesigned curriculum for the Fall 2013 start of the program. The new EMBA curriculum retains its emphasis on quantitative skills (finance, accounting, economics, and statistics) and now includes a stronger emphasis on leadership, including four new courses in executive leadership.
The new Fall 2013 EMBA curriculum includes:
- 10 new EMBA courses
- 12 newly-revised EMBA courses
- The CU Executive MBA is now partnering with the Center for Creative Leadership to provide our Executive MBA students with leadership education that includes an unparalleled expertise for solving the leadership challenges of individuals and their organizations.
The fixed sequence of courses beginning once a year each fall permits integration of subjects from course to course. Courses are related to each other and to the business world.
CU's Executive MBA Program provides an integrated curriculum. When the courses are taken in the prescribed order, they provide a comprehensive business education.
Overall, participants complete 22 courses in the order presented here, for a total of 48 semester credit hours for graduation, providing a truly comprehensive business education.
