Asbestos and Lead Safety
Asbestos and Lead Management training is required for all maintenance and custodial staff throughout the UCB Campus towards meeting the EPA's worker protection legislation.
The initial 2 hour training is a seminar style with Audio Visual presentation. Some trades (such as Plumbers and Fitters) require an additional 14 hours of instruction and will therefore need to attend the follow-up Friday sessions. Questions related to Asbestos and Lead training can be fielded by calling the EH&S office, (303) 492-6025, or sending e-mail entitled 'Asb/Lead training' to EHS@colorado.edu.
