Contamination Survey Reporting Program
Laboratories should be surveyed with filter wipe smears to check for loose contamination EACH WEEK (defined as Sunday-Saturday) unsealed radiation is used in the lab.
All survey results and print-outs should be stored in a binder in the laboratory for perusal during audits.
Each month, ALL laboratories licensed for unsealed radioisotopes (even if radioisotopes are not used) need to submit a Contamination Survey Report to the Radiation Safety office. Please note that this report must be submitted from a University computer (either on campus or VPN).
