diana.nemergut@colorado.edu Ph.D., University of Colorado, Boulder, 2004 Research InterestsHorizontal gene transfer in microbial communities. I am currently looking at the role of integrons in genetic exchange in soil and aquatic environments. I am interested in the types of genes that can be exchanged via integrons, as well as the phylogenetic diversity of the organisms that contain integrons. Recent PublicationsD. R. Nemergut , E. K.
