MORPH meetings 2005

There were two MORPH-sponsored meetings in 2005:

Causes and consequences of floral developmental change

MORPH sponsored a symposium entitled Causes and consequences of floral developmental change: crossing the organismic and molecular divide in plant evolutionary developmental biology at the International Botanical Congress. This was supported by travel grants given to ten plant evo-devo researchers.

The symposium was co-organized by Pamela Diggle and Susan Kalisz.

Botanical garden grant meeting

MORPH held a meeting of representatives from botanical gardens to implement the biodiversity and evolutionary developmental studies grants.

These training grants are targeted toward individuals with an interest in expanding organismic and molecular evolutionary developmental studies to include a broader sampling of plant biodiversity.
