This
meeting focused on introducing the members of the core participant
group and their labs to each other, and on initiating discussions
about the current status of graduate training and publication venues
in plant evo-devo. Each of the core participant labs gave research
presentations. Discussions were held about prospective research
interfaces, cross-disciplinary interactions over the course of
the five year grant cycle, and strategies to increase the national
and international profile of plant evolutionary developmental biology.
