DNA sequencing,
cloning and AFLP profiling can be carried out at molecular
facilities at the
Institute of Biology Leiden. DNA
extractions from highly degraded and/or precious museum material
can be
done at a special ancient DNA facility.
SEM and TEM research
can be carried out at the electronic microscopy facilities
at
NHN-L.
The library
of NHN-L currently harbours over 45,000 books, 100,000
journal volumes and 90,000 icones on botany.
