Accommodation can be arranged for
researchers visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew if they
give sufficient notice
prior to arrival.
Since demand is high (especially in the summer), it is essential
to contact us early with arrival date and duration of stay.
For shorter visits, Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available
with local people in their own homes close to the Gardens.
Type of accommodation varies, but mostly consists of a furnished
room
with use of kitchen and bathroom. Cost varies with the type
of accommodation, length of stay and the time of year.
At Wakehurst Place there are study
bedrooms in the Wellcome Trust Millennium Building of the Millennium
Seed
Bank Project. These
rooms are subject to availability; at busy times of the year
it might be necessary to find alternative accommodation in
the area,
such as Bed & Breakfast.
