The application deadline for the Summer 2008 REU program at the
University of Colorado Mountain Research Station has now passed.
Admission decisions will be made over the next month, and applicants
will be notified as soon as possible.
 
The program will run from June 9th – August 15th

 
REU Group 2002

The University of Colorado Research Experiences for Undergraduates program provides students with the opportunity to participate in research projects at the University of Colorado Mountain Research Station. More information about the University of Colorado REU program, the faculty involved, the host site, and the application process can be found on these pages. Most student participants will be housed at the Mountain Research Station. Participants will live in cabins at the Station through the summer, offering an opportunity for participation in a unique, focused, research program.

MEALS AND HOUSING AT THE MOUNTAIN RESEARCH STATION ARE PROVIDED FREE OF COST TO THE PARTICIPANTS. PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REGISTERED FREE OF CHARGE IN A 1 CREDIT COURSE AND WILL BE PAID A STIPEND OF $4500 FOR THE 10 WEEK PROGRAM.

There are two goals of this REU site:

To this end, the participating faculty are committed to significantly involving undergraduate students in their research, to interacting with undergraduates at both a professional and personal level, and to introducing undergraduates to research in ways that will encourage them to pursue a graduate career in the biological sciences.
