Research Opportunities

The Biology Club has a long-standing reputation of encouraging and supprting its members to get involved in scientific research. To that end, we work on facilitating as much student-facilty interaction as possible. Both educating students on the work that professors are involved in, as well as providing opportunties for undergraduates to work directly with professors. Many students work on honors projects, some of which become the topics of future dissertations. Remember that with just a little initiative you can dive right into the world of research.

If you are interested in undergraduate research come to our:

Wed. Oct. 25 - Research Symposium @ 4:00 - 5:45pm in RAMY N240

  • Dr. Barbara Demig-Adams will speak about the CU Honors Program
  • Larry Boehm will speak about CU Funding for Research through UROP
  • Dr. Bill Bowman will speak about Summer Opportunities through REU
  • Dr. Lynn Wolff will speak on behalf of the Biological Sciences Initiative
  • There will be a speaker on Study Abroad opportunities in biology
  • Judith Moore will speak about CU's Career Services Program
  • There will be a student research presentation as well.
  • Also, find out about professors and graduate students seeking research assistants.
