Student Teaching
The student teaching experience is the core of our teacher education program, a time when our candidates truly discover and shape challenging new identities as beginning teachers.

Student teaching involves extended teaching in a school within the Denver Metro area in the appropriate subject and level, as though you were a full-time teacher in that school for the semester.  You cannot be paid for this experience.  Student teaching is done at the grade level and teaching field in which you are to be licensed.  Student teaching cannot be waived by any previous teaching experience.
