Childcare
Here's an excellent resource for childcare information: http://www.colorado.edu/humres/childcare/ This lists both on-campus and off-campus childcare options. Just be sure to call the places you are interested in well before you come to Boulder; many centers have wait lists that can take several months for your child to get in.

Pet Care
Going out of town? Consider Canine Campover: a group of pet owners who open their private homes to your pet while you're gone.
