Linda Mizell is assistant professor of education in educational foundations, policy and practice, and in the instruction and curriculum content areas program (ICCA). Her research centers on the historical struggles of African Americans to gain access to quality education. Dr. Mizell’s teaching interests include the history of education in the United States, education for social justice, and the practice of anti-racist multicultural education.
