Dr. Eisenhart will provide an introduction to cy.Scan and its research projects and technology training workshops, along with an overview of research reported in 1998 book by Eisenhart and Finkel, Women's Science, and both will report on recent research from the Simply the Best! after-school science and technology class attended by middle-school Latinas.

Technology Mini-Lecture:
Creating counter-stereotypic images on Web pages using "PaintShop Pro" software and basics of making a Web page using "Claris Homepage" software.
